Hartham Outdoor Swimming Pool 1950s/1960s

This is a photo of me, my sister and a friend at the swimming pool in Hartham, Hertford. It would have been taken either in the very late 50s or very early 60s. During the school holidays we spent most days at Hartham, only going back home when we were hungry ! Sometimes we were on our bicycles, sometimes we took our fishing nets and sometimes we went swimming. Lovely memories.
And during term time we went to the pool with the school to learn to swim.
