Mrs Croft daughter of Henry Page moved to Fanhams Hall in 1880. She rebuilt the house in 1901. In 1878 she commissioned a new set of windows from Morris and Company. It remained as part of the estate until 1950 when it was sold to a bank.

The “bank” which acquired Fanhams Hall originally was Westminster Bank, which subsequently became part of National Westminster Bank. They used it as a training centre, mainly for inducting new members of staff. I attended a staff garden party there back in the early 1970’s which was held to commemorate its disposal to another commercial organisation.
