Christmas at Hertford County Hospital

Father Christmas and teddy bears

Father Christmas and teddy bears

This is a picture taken on one of the hospital wards in 1946. Every year the wards were decorated for Christmas. The ward sister would be in charge of decorating her own ward to a theme.

Matron Taylor is to the right of the picture and one of the sister tutors is standing behind her. Also in the picture are: Assistant Matron Copestake, Home Sister Hood, Sister Davies, Sister Dibble, Sister Dilmot, Sister Gotheridge and Sister Catlin.

Do you know anybody else in the picture?
