Margaret Annie Fell, 42, was a ward matron from Cubbington in Warwickshire.  In 1891 Margaret was a Junior Teacher in the private school run by Caroline, her sister, at 13, Primrose Bank, Oldham.  In 1881 she was a pupil at a ladies’ school at Uffculme, Tiverton, Devon, run by Mary A. Glanville.

Florence Emily Pratt, 16, from Thundridge was a ward nurse.  Edward, 44, her father was the blacksmith at Wadesmill or Thundridge and by 1911 William, 20, his eldest son was assisting him.  Florence’s mother was Emily, 43, from Harpenden.

Note 1: In 1901 Elsie Beatrice H. Giles, then 5, was living at 2, Kings Road, Gordon Terrace, Newbury with her widowed Grandmother, Sarah Ann, 58, son George, 22, clothier’s assistant and daughter Alice, 19, a dressmaker, and another son Harry, 16, an apprentcie cabinet maker along with two boarders.

Note 2:  In 1911 there was a Fritz Hermann, aged 55, living as a (black)smith in the German Colony, Libury Hall, Little Munden, near Ware but he was described as single.
