My Favourite Place in Hertford

Hertford Theatre

Hertford Theatre

I performed on this stage in a show called Dance celebrations. It was great to be on the stage but a little bit nerve racking because in one of my dance routine I had to do a handstand with someone holding  my legs but I’m glad to say it went well on show night. I then felt proud of myself and enjoyed the applause.

Doing this gave me access to the wings behind the stage and in the dressing room. All of this made me feel like a rock star but it wouldn’t have been as good without all of my friends.

I also like being in the audience of the theatre. I went to  see Dick Whittington and his cat Tommy. When I  saw the ship in the pantomime I  was amazed how it could fit in the wings because they are only two metres as I am not performing I can sit back and watch the show feeing relaxed and calm.
