Charles was my grandfather and the son of Walter, the Hertford muffin man. Known by many people who lived on Port Hill where he was born and lived until 1947. He ran the Taylor Brothers wholesale greengrocers business from the yard and sheds behind The Reindeer public house, which is now a vets.
