16th April 1883 | 24th March 1884 | Florence | Sauzé | Florence was born in Australia. In 1881, Florence was mistress of the village school in Berden, Essex, just north of Bishop’s Stortford. In Jan 1888 she became mistress of Watton-at-Stone School. |

Her father Thomas Stebbing Porter was master of Bengeo Boys’ School. Marion resigned as the school was closing on 31st August 1923. - Hockerill Teacher Training College opened in 1852 and was closed in the 1970s. The site is now occupied by Hockerill Anglo-European College.
