Dimsdale Arms

Fore Street

The name refers to a local prominent family. These pictures show the details of some of the varied architecture to be found in Fore Street. The Post Office to the left of the picture is still there, as is the alley between, but a shop has been added to the corner of the Dimsdale. To the far left there was an estate agents which then remained empty for some time, and is now to become a restaurant and hotel.
